I would like to subscribe the definition of climate change as the change in the present condition influenced by the chemical reactions that occur within the Earth’s atmosphere because it is where risks and vulnerability came in as the effect of chemical reactions.   These reactions could potentially affect the sustainability of all life form and the environment.   Here, I would like to present the current situation of Bantayan Island in the Philippines.  The island is comprised of three municipalities, one of which is the Municipality of Bantayan.  The island is gifted with unique terrestrial and marine ecosystem.  Abundant in marine resources and freshwater to drink.  All these things are being challenged by overfishing and exploitation of water resource.  Today, sustainability is the most pressing challenge in the island.  Urban planners forecasted that by year 2030, the location of the municipal building and the central business hub will be flooded with seawater.   Another risk is
