Hazardous wastes collected from households and facilities own by the Municipality of Bantayan are stored in the HW storage facilities of the LGU Bantayan – Centralized Material Recovery Facility (CMRF). These facilities are accessible in cases of emergency such as fire, explosions, or release of hazardous wastes, also accessible for inspection and daily monitoring. The closure for HW is equipped with safety lock but adequately ventilated except for the Preliminary Disinfection Storage Facility (PDSF) that is enclosed and sealed with rubber fittings.
